The Honorable William Goodling
U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, DC 20515
Dear Representative Goodling:
As Chairman of the Committee on Education and the Workforce, I write to express my concern about H.R. 2327 (Drive for Teen Employment Act). Given that 16- and 17-year-olds have the highest accident rates of all drivers, I urge you to ensure that the current prohibition against teen occupational driving will be upheld.
There are many safe and appropriate jobs for teens. Occupational driving is not one of them. I oppose any relaxation of the current law. Please share with the committee my opposition to H.R. 2327. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Name
